Hi, I’m beverly johnson

Greetings! I am a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach, trained at Emory University, with a dedicated focus on empowering individuals through mindful eating, food awareness, and wellness practices.

My work integrates insights from the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program through the Palouse Institute, which enables me to lead mindfulness and meditation sessions, and a specialized course in mindful eating from Duke University, designed to help individuals transform their relationship with food. Additionally, I have received training in group coaching from Vanderbilt University, allowing me to effectively facilitate collective learning and support.

My journey in health and wellness coaching began with a book club I started 11 years ago, where I encouraged meaningful changes in food selection, self-care, and mindfulness within a supportive community. This club blossomed into a shared space for women to discuss wellness, set personal goals, and pursue dreams, enriching my approach to coaching and underscoring the power of gradual, sustainable lifestyle changes.

Outside of coaching, I am passionate about giving back and spending time with my husband, Charles, whether we’re volunteering to feed the homeless, supporting Habitat for Humanity, tutoring math, or organizing community events. My dream is to extend my impact, one client at a time, helping each person reach their wellness goals in a way that resonates personally and supports lasting transformation.
